Walks on the Beach with Angie becomes a multi-award winning book!
May 13, 2009 – The Midwest Independent Publishers Association (MIPA) Awards (representing 12 states) were held, of which Walks on the Beach with Angie was nominated as a finalist in four categories.  The book was honored with first place awards in the Health/Medical and Social Science (Psychology, Family and Self-Help) categories, and was a finalist in the Autobiography/Memoir and Cover Design categories.

Walks on the Beach with Angie also received award nominations for the Indie Excellence Awards and the Benjamin Franklin Awards. The Indie Excellence Awards bestowed nominations in the Auto Biography/Memoir and Health/Medical categories, and the Benjamin Franklin nomination was as a finalist for the Health/Medical category.
